Master of June 2009.

Post by Zoran »

Guys & girls, in your first try what were your scores? What do you think about text, is it hard, easy or average in difficulty?
I think text is a little difficult, but I think I can get 130 +. In my first try I did 98 wpm.

Well this text isn't easy but it isn't that hard than the last master. I think it's average difficulty, only the last sentence is really difficult to type.

I got 83 on my first try and currently I have 106 wpm. I'll try to reach 115 wpm. Good luck everyone, enjoy this master ! :)

Wow, I can't believe this text won, I'm so happy!

It seems easy, I did 110,02 on my very first try :D I won't have that much room for improvement though... I'll shoot for 120.

On another note, Zoran, do you plan to ever unblock me from msn?

I voted for the V text. Was surprised a different english text won. Good luck to all competitors. :) ~120 so far when I just woke up.

Nice text! Much more fun to type than last month's. "shoemaker" flies by!

Unfortunately I forgot about the Master starting until about 24 hrs ago, and only had a few minutes just now to tackle it, due to an unusually busy week. Sorry I won't give much competition...

123.09 first try, 137.56 is probably where I'll have to leave it. Was averaging around 150 through the first half - am betting a couple people might push 155-160 for a final score.

Good luck, all!

5 minutes ago I was on 145 wpm until "prosperous people" and I've pressed something (I don't know what) and something showed on the screen like when you press "Alt + F" and this was my best typing, my first chance to get 135 +. Jeandid, what did I press???? That happened a few times before, but it shouldn't happen now.

Yes, Karens score worried me on msn! Lol.

Just hoping for 1 more English text next month, so I can do a short one too. Then I don't really care if they go back to French. :) :)

Pretty happy about my score this month, grabbing the last spot in the top 10, and when I look at the 9 names above me and their scores on the permanent english contest... I can't really blame myself for coming after them

Good job Adrien for beating Martin in yet another nail biter victory! I know you don't like typing in English all that much, yet you succeeded in reaching your goal and even more, almost catching the 120's.

Too bad Andrei and Noah couldn't bring more competition to the table, and it sucks that Jelani, Chen and Pritts didn't participate, but it's cool to see 3 new faces who stepped up in the others' absence, namely Robert Price, David Lo and Clement Yang whom I hope to see become household names on typingzone! Welcome aboard and congrat's on your great performances :)

Finally, congratulations to Jordan and Karen for their amazing scores. With two wins in a row, Jordan is establishing himself as the new guy to beat. Karen, I didn't expect such a high score from you on this master, too bad that you came up short by such a small margin!
